⇢ 2. PAYMENT
☆ All prices are listed in USD and only paid via the following:
The Ko-fi Donation section
by purchasing through Ko-Fi Shop.
♡ Full payment is expected upfront and confirmed before the start of any commission, I will let you know when your payment has been fully synced into my paypal. For other circumstances, please discuss further with me.
If you order outside of ko-fi, DO NOT send me any kind of payment until I have confirmed I can accept your commission AND have asked for payment.
☆ If you wish to rush your commission, or prioritize yours first, you must pay an extra rush fee, starting at 50% of commission price. and must be agreed upon before I begin your commission.
↳ COMMERCIAL USE
♡ A commercial fee is required If you:
Wish to sell physical or digital merchandise using my art/designs
For any branding/promotions (Patreon Content, Business Cards, Personal Site, etc.) twitter/insta posts are ok with proper credits!

☆ If the artwork will be used to make a profit in any way, then you will need to pay commercial use for it.
♡ Commercial prices range from 2-5x the original price, depending on what my work is being used for. With a starting point of at least $50 extra payment (unless otherwise stated). I will still have the copyright over the art and my watermark will remain.
☆ Commercial Fees must be paid before any artwork can be used for commercial use. This means that you may order a commission with the intention of commercial use and pay the fee immediately, or if you would like to use an old commission for commercial use, you may pay the fee at a later date. If you don’t pay the commercial use fee, YOU CANNOT USE THE COMMISSION FOR COMMERCIAL USE.
⇢ 3. PROCESS
♡ All commissions are a digital purchase. No physical copy will be delivered.
☆ If there are delays, you will be informed. I have the right to choose not to disclose details for delays. General updates and delays will be made via my social media and discord. Personal notifications will be given under certain circumstances or if you ask.
♡ If you said yes to a being 18+ for a NSFW commission, then you are agreeing that you are over 18 and I take no responsibility for anything beyond.
☆ If I find out that there is a violation of terms, YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND AND YOUR COMMISSION WILL BE VOIDED AND CANCELED.
↳ PART 1:
♡ Depending on where/how you order your commission:
You will have to fill out the form first and send me your commission information: this includes any refs, poses, accessories that you want.

☆ Leave proper contact information please! You must be reachable; sketch, updates, and final pieces are sent to the messenger that was initially requested to communicate.
♡ Please have your references ready! I will not draw out written characters unless it is a character design commission. If I, Jaxx, make a mistake on my own part, I will edit the commission. But if your form does not include the necessary details and edits need to be made, and Jaxx decides to proceed with the edits, a fee price will be added. And fees start at 20 USD and increase depending on the type of edit. A Complete redo of the commission will not be accepted.
↳ PART 2:
☆ Once I agree upon your commission, I will ask you to pay via the Ko-fi donation section or the Ko-fi commissions.
♡ Then once the commission is paid and has been synced into my Paypal, I will start your commission as soon as possible, remember commission turn around may range between 3 weeks~5 months, depending on what your commission is.
☆ I will try to deliver as fast as I can, generally will be first come first serve basis, expedition of a piece will require an extra fee.
♡ I start off with a wip sketch per commission that I will send for you to check, this is your time to ask for any changes/additions, depending on how much of a change the price may increase. But typically small additions don’t require any extra payment and most edits are free at this stage.
☆ Changes can be discussed, but must be before almost completion. tiny changes are generally ok but large changes are subject to extra payment.
♡ If more than 2 major changes need to be done, because I did not receive the proper references, you will be charged an extra fee, starting at 20 USD per commission, increasing 20% depending on the edits.
☆ No complete redo's of a commission are accepted.
↳ PART 3:
♡ Once I receive confirmation of changes, I will begin the FINAL version of your commission
☆ After I have finished your commission, I will send the commission via Twitter, email, or Discord.
♡ It will be sent as a low resolution file with a water mark. Any changes from here on out will require an additional fee depending on what it is starting at 30 USD.
☆ If no changes are required, and you give me the ok, I will send the final product in a higher resolution PNG Format only.
REMINDER: Commissions are only for personal use. You cannot reproduce, redistribute, copy or make any kind of profit or off Jaxx’s artwork in any shape or form such as any and all physical and digital goods which include but are not limited to; prints, keychains, buttons, acrylic pieces, pillows, stickers, etc.
⇢ 4. CANCELING AND REFUND POLICY
↳ COMMERCIAL USE
♡ I have the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time, for any reason.
☆ Refunds are accepted only before the commission is complete.
I will not be refunding any orders that have been approved to be worked on past the sketching phase unless I determine I'm unable to finish them myself.
Full refunds: if I do not think that I can complete your commission, or If I haven’t begun your commission yet, I will send a full refund.
Partial refunds: after I have started your commission and created your sketch, I will refund at least 20% and most 50% of your payment, if you desire to cancel your order and request a refund.
NOTE: I can also offer you credit on a future commission! But that is only 75% of the commission you are canceling.
No refunds for a completed commission
♡ There should not be, under ANY circumstances, a reason for you to file a chargeback against me. I abide by these rules and will always be HONEST and RESPECTFUL and so should you.
☆ I will always try my best to complete a commission in the most honest and correct form I possibly can.
♡ If you do file a chargeback against me with ill intent:
Your right to everything I have ever made for you will be redacted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers.
You will be forbidden from ever commissioning me ever again.
Your name will be publicly posted anywhere and everywhere I want so that others can know what you have done and to watch out for. I don't want you to continue harming others.
⇢ 5. COPYRIGHT AND USAGE POLICY
☆ I, the artist, Jaxx, hold every right to the produced artwork, not the commissioner.
♡ Therefore I am allowed to use my copyrighted work to:
Promote myself within any place or site.
Display it anywhere to my liking.
Post it where ever I want.
The right to post the artwork in my portfolio and social medias.
☆ Artwork especially prior to the finalized piece are mine.
♡ Please remember that I, Jaxx, have the right to post the commission on any of my sites/social medias. You may request for a commission post to be delayed. But I can post it where I want.
As the commissioner, you are allowed to:
☆ Use the copyrighted artwork for personal use ( printing for own personal display, utilizing in personal social media (with credits), decorative use.)
Commissions, unless otherwise agreed, are NOT for commercial use. (Mass producing the artwork for resales). UNLESS you have purchased the commission use fee.
The artwork is also not for VTubing/PNGTubing, unless a prior agreement has been made
♡ Print the art for self use, and claim the right to their own character(s) but not the illustration/artwork itself.
☆ Post the art to twitter/insta WITH proper credit given to Jaxx, the artist.
♡ Minor edits and alterations to a finished commission I have made are ok, but it cannot be edited where the original is no longer recognizable. You can resize, crop, add an extra watermark to the commission if you re-upload to another site, BUT Proper credit is required, and you CANNOT remove my watermarks.

When reselling adoptables, you may attach any artwork Jaxx has created of said adoptable to the price. This is the only time personal use artwork can be resold to gain back the original price paid. BUT Design credits still belong to Jaxx.

Can be used as your own character, for original stories, roleplays, personal projects, etc.
Cannot be used for public webcomics/publications even if there is no income coming from it currently.
Adoptables included in comics that are doodles, aus, etc. that are posted on social media are considered personal use. it will only fall under commercial use if you plan to make a dedicated novel, series, comic, etc.

Adoptable Designs may be edited after purchase
Designs are a digital purchase. Files will either be sent automatically via the Shop or thru Ko-Fi DMs if bought thru Donation Module. There will be no physical copy. Jaxx holds the rights to their artwork.
Please credit Jaxx at least once for the design, @Issa_Jaxx. I would also appreciate it if you could credit me every time you posted the design! But at least once is required!
